Replaces Buildx with runner-native Docker/Podman build and push commands, avoiding the unavailable catatonit Buildx sidecar.

Run #7 completed checkout and reached registry login. It fails with 401 Unauthorized, so REGISTRY_USERNAME and/or REGISTRY_API_KEY need correcting before the image can build and push.
